Excerpts from the interview:

Favourite music?

Virat Kohli: Music wise, a mix of everything. I am from the north side of India which is a lot of Punjabi culture so a lot of those songs. But I like to listen to some Sufi stuff as well so a mix of both.

Favourite singer?

Virat: I have always been a fan of Asrar.

Favourite subject in school?

Virat: Yes, my favourite subject was, actually, surprisingly, history! I was very keen on learning things of past and how we made our way where we are now.

Toughest subject?

Virat: Maths. Any day, I really hate maths.

Possessing one superpower?

Virat: Just be invisible I guess. Go for a walk, not be seen by anyone. Just do the normal things in life.

Favourite cuisine?

Virat: I quite like Japanese food. That’s something I have a craving of and I can eat ever day, three meals throughout the whole week.

Do you cook?

Virat: No, I don’t but I would like to learn. It’s a great hobby to have. It keeps your mind off from everything else and probably something you need to improve everyday.

What would he like to cook?

Virat: I think I will be good with salads because I like eating healthy and I think I can mix different things together and actually make some nice salads. That would be my speciality I am thinking.

Australian accent.

Virat: How you going mate (in Australian accent). That’s the best I can do.
