Police investigates cow slaughter incident, arrests Shami's brother

Amroha: Mohammad Haseeb, Indian cricketer Mohammad Shami’s brother, was arrested in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday after he got involved in a fight with policemen.

It is learnt that Shami’s brother had an argument with police who were investigating a matter related to cow slaughter.

According to reports, Haseeb tore the clothes of policemen as he wanted the accused of the incident to be released.

Shami’s father, Tauseef Ahmad, alleged that his family is in danger and his son's arrest is used to target them, according to media reports.
