Mumbai: A late flourish from Raphi Gomez and Prasanth Padmanabhan helped Kerala upset Baroda by four wickets in the Group ‘A’ clash of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Super League at the Wankhede stadium here on Saturday.

Chasing 161, Kerala were reduced to 15/3 as Irfan Pathan pegged them back with crucial strikes of Sanju Samson (0) and Rohan Prem (6). But skipper Sachin Baby (44) steadied the innings with a 59-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Nikhilesh Surendran (36).

The match was drifting away from Kerala but a 45-run partnership in 17 balls between Gomez and Prasanth (17 not out) turned the match on its head.
