Hope rises for UAE sisters as cops get clues to trace their mother
The police found details of Razia's brother Syed Khaja Pasha.
Hyderabad: The south zone police says that it has got some leads regarding the United Arab Emirates siblings mother.
The two sisters, Ayesha Rasheed and Fathima Rasheed from Fujairah, had approached the police seeking help to trace their mother Razia Begum, who is believed to be still living in Hyderabad.
According to the initial police inquiry, the police could find a person from her previous neighbourhood in Barkhas.
The man, Syed Abubakkar Raffani, had signed the nikahnama of Razia at the time of her wedding with the UAE national Rasheed Eid Obaid Masmery in 1981.
“He remembers signing the Nikahnama on the wedding day, December 7, 1981.
But he did not give details about the current location of Razia,” said a senior official from south zone.
The police also found details of Razia’s brother Syed Khaja Pasha, who was living in Barkhas.
