Telangana: ISIS biggest enemy of Islam, declare Muslim scholars

They issued a declaration that all the activities of ISIS were against Islamic principles.

Hyderabad: Muslim scholars from the city said that global terror outfit Islamic State is the biggest enemy of Islam. They issued a declaration that all the activities of ISIS were against Islamic principles.

The scholars were addressing a public talk on ‘ISIS- Enemy of Islam’  conducted by the Islamic Educational Welfare Society at Vanasthalipuram on Tuesday night.

“There is no space for ISIS ideology in our religion. The inhuman activities of the ISIS go against the teachings of Islam. We should make it clear that there is no connection between Islam and ISIS ideology,” said Maulana Khaled Saifullah Rahmani, a prominent Islamic scholar.

He said that the youngsters should reject ISIS propaganda and should not get mislead by their evil ideas.

Mohammed Abdul Rahoof Khan, founder of Islamic Educational Welfare Society said that Islam teaches us to love the country we live in. “We are Indians and as per the teachings of Islam we should live harmoniously with people from other religions. Hurting others is not permissible in Islam,” he said.

Hundreds of people attended the function and took an oath to reject the evil propaganda of ISIS.
