Politicians not involved in farmer plan, says Telangana

Hyderabad: The TS government said politicians were not involved in selecting beneficiaries for the farm mechanisation scheme.

The government was responding to a PIL filed by Mr C. Muralidhar of Warangal district alleging irregularities in the selection of beneficiaries, of the scheme

The government said a mandal level committee receives applications and sends them to the district level committee headed by the collector who selects beneficiaries.
