Hyderabad: Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar of the Hyderabad High Court has issued notices to former Medak district collector Rahul Bojja, who is the present Hyderabad district collector, and two revenue authorities, seeking their explanation in a contempt case, within two weeks.

The judge was dealing with a suo motu contempt case against Mr Bojja, RDO Dayanand and tahsildar Mahipal Reddy for violating the court order granted in June, 2015.

The court had ordered the authorities mentioned in a plea by G. Thimmaiah not to interfere with the peaceful possession and construction activity of the petitioner on plots located in Beeramguda village in Patanchervu mandal of Medak district.

The petitioner brought to the notice of the court that the authorities had cancelled the building permission by claiming that the subject land comes under purview of FTL.

The Court then decided to have suo motu contempt case. The matter was posted to Feb 5 for hearing.
