Four mysterious men go missing; alert in Odisha
When the hotel manager asked for their identity proofs, they could not produce any document.
BHUBANESWAR: Suspecting that four suspected terrorists have entered Odisha, the police on Tuesday sounded high alert in all the districts.
According to Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Commissioner of Police Dr Rajendra Prasad Sharma, at around 9 pm on Monday, four persons who introduced themselves at citizens of Iraq, came to Hotel Arya Mahal at Bapuji Nagar and wanted to book two rooms.
They finalised two rooms at Rs 5,000. When the hotel manager asked for their identity proofs, they could not produce any document.
The suspected persons said they had left their passports in the car parked at a distance. They left the hotel reception to get the passports from the vehicle.
However, instead of returning to reception with the passports they sped away in the Ford Icon car bearing a Delhi registration number - DL4C 9645.
