Nellore: Rajampeta YSR Congress MP P. Mithun Reddy was released on conditional bail from Nellore Central Prison late on Thursday evening. Tirupati fifth additional district sessions court had granted the bail on Wednesday for Mithun Reddy and another YSR Congress leader Madhusudan Reddy.

YSRC senior leader and Ongole MP Y.V. Subba Reddy, Nellore district unit president and Sarvepalle legislator Kakani Govardhan Reddy, Chandragiri legislator Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Nellore City, Rural, Sullurpeta and Gudur legislators Dr Anil Kumar Yadav, Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, Kiliveti Sanjeeva Rao and Pasam Suneel Kumar received Mithun Reddy after his release.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Subba Reddy alleged that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has been targeting Peddireddi family in Chittoor district unable to digest their growth in politics. He said that the airport incident, where Mithun Reddy allegedly slapped the airport manager at Renigunta, was fabricated while referring to his presence in the airport on that day. He reminded that the airport manager has apologised to Mithun then.
