Cyberabad SOT officials nab four in drug peddling cases

The Special Operations Team of Cyberabad Police arrested four persons in connection with drug peddling cases.
Hyderabad: The Special Operations Team of Cyberabad Police raided multiple locations which led to the arrest of four individuals with 3.6 kg of ganja and LSD laced papers.

In the first operation at Katalapur traffic signal in Allapur, Gagan Kumar Behara was arrested for possessing 1.9 kilograms of ganja, whereas at Siddhiknagar in Madhapur, Kushal Pradhan and Mithuna Dhal were arrested for carrying 1.5 kg of ganja.

In the second raid near Balakampet Ellamma Temple, a person named Kummari Vishal Sai, 30, a resident of Sanathnagar was nabbed by the SOT team and recovered five LSD-laced papers from him.

Whereas near the DMart Service Road, Attapur, Mohd Shakeel, 34, an autorickshaw driver by profession and the resident of Rajendranagar, was arrested for possessing 210 grams of ganja.

A case has been registered under the NDPS Act and investigation is underway, police said.
