Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal reminisce old days at Shatrughan Sinha's book launch

Shatrughan Sinha has also acted in a few Telugu movies and said that he loved Tollywood and the Telugu people and would love to work here again someday.
Shatrughan has been to the city numerous times and admits that “Hyderabad has a magical quality” and he has come here so often that “it's now a part of his life”.
But after Mohan Babu revealed how Shatrughan, Rajinikanth, Ambareesh and he had been great friends, Chiranjeevi, on a lighter note added, “How did you miss my name? You've been giving an impression that only you are close to Shatruji. He comes to my home, sits by the pool and says what a lovely home I have.”
Chiranjeevi also fired off one of his colleague's famous dialogues. “Bandook haath mein lekar geedarh bhi sher ban jayega, Heera”, followed by the signature phrase “Khamosh”.
“I have acted in several remakes of Sinha's films. The book personifies Shatrughan Sinha. Hate him or love him, you just can't ignore him,” Chiranjeevi said.
All of his friends pitched in with their memories of the actor. While Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu joked about who between them was Sinha's closest friend, Mohanlal was more direct.
The event was organised by the T. Subbarami Reddy Foundation. Mr Subbarami Reddy, a close friend of the actor-politician, played the perfect host on the occasion as Sinha was joined by colleagues and contemporaries from the film industry Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu and Mohanlal.
“It took Bharathi seven years to write the book. But it has been in the pipeline for may be around 10 years. I appreciate Bharathi for her patience and for writing about my life so beautifully,” said Sinha.
The book has been penned by journalist Bharathi S. Pradhan and had been in the pipeline for years.
Actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha was in Hyderabad on Wednesday to launch Anything But Khamosh, his official biography.
