Actor Fahadh Faasil diagnosed with ADHD at 41

Fahadh Faasil in an inaugural function of Peace Valley School, opened up about his ADHD or Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder diagnosis. "I asked Mr Sabith, who accompanied me while touring the facilities of the school, whether ADHD can be cured. To which he said, It can be cured if it's diagnosed in childhood. I asked him, I was diagnosed with ADHD at 41, can it be cured," he said.

"I was clinically diagnosed with ADHD, although it's not big, I too have the traits of the disorder," he added.

Fahadh Faasil's latest flick was Aavesham, where he played the role of Rangan. It was a hit and he immensely praised for his performance.

What is ADHD

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder. It is usually diagnosed in childhood. Children with ADHD may have issues like paying attention, hyperactive and not being able to control their behaviour.

ADHD cannot be cured but it can be managed with therapy and medication.
