Seasoned star Nagarjuna is accompanied by his wife Amala, Naga Chaitanya, and to-be daughter-in-law Sobhita Dhulipala as the Akkineni family made an official appearance together at the IFFI Goa and it was the perfect family picture amid heightened excitement surrounding their marriage.
Speaking on the occasion, Nagarjuna said he was happy to be part of the festival, emphasizing the importance of paying tribute to his legendary father, Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR), who’s being honored on his centenary. "This is the main reason I’m here," Nagarjuna said, pointing out that the festival’s focus on celebrating such icons makes it a truly special occasion. While he was asked which of his father's 251 films he would remake, Nagarjuna humbly responded that choosing one is impossible. "It’s not my greatness, it’s the greatness of Indian cinema," he added, showcasing his deep respect for the cinematic heritage that transcends individual fame.
In a video doing the rounds, Sobhita, clad in a peach-toned salwar suit, could be seen standing beside Chaitanya, while Nagarjuna and his wife Amala stood center stage at the IFFI Goa. However, the senior actor ushered the soon-to-be-married duo to come in between and strike a perfect family photo together with everyone. Well, this special gesture surely proved that Sobhita Dhulipala is all set to officially become a part of the Akkineni family.
Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita are set to get married on December 4 in their famed Annapurna studios amidst 300-odd guests from both families.
