The last schedule of Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay will be shot in Bulgaria. There were reports about the film being indefinitely postponed, but after much delay, Ajay will start shooting a portion of the film this week and continue all the way till April.

The actor had gone to Canada last year around the same time to find a suitable location for the film, but after that didn’t work out, he zeroed in on Bulgaria. Meanwhile, he signed up for a couple of projects including Drishyam. Shivaay is a big budget film and around Rs 8-9 crore have already been spent on its extensive research and pre-production . Saira Banu’s grand niece Sayesha plays the lead along with Ajay Devgn in the film.

Says a source, “Ajay went to Bulgaria on January 6 for a recce and has been there since. The rest of the team will follow him later this week. The shoot needs extremely cold weather, so the crew will work under very harsh conditions. A

portion of the film has been shot in Hyderabad and some parts of it will be shot in Mumbai too, after the crew returns in April.”
