Mumbai: It gives every Indian a sense of pride to get associated with the freedom movement and the fight for independence which the country and its brave men fought. Recently while shooting for his upcoming flick ‘Rustom,’ Akshay Kumar revisited history. He visited the room where the great nationalist, Lokmanya Tilak lived as a student.

The 48-year-old actor took to his Instagram account and posted a picture of himself that was captioned, “Revisiting history while shooting for Rustom! Standing outside the room where the great nationalist, Lokmanya Tilak lived as a student.”

In the snap, the 'Airlift' star was seen in his character's look, a moustache and wearing a navy blue shirt.

The actor was also snapped while shooting for the film. As Akshay finished his day's shoot, he was mobbed by his fans who gathered around to catch a glimpse of him.

Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, 'Rustom' revolves around the story of a naval officer and his fight for his nation and honour. It also stars Ileana D'Cruz in the lead role.
