Baaghi 2 BO collections: Tiger Shroff film mints 73.10 crore over the opening weekend
The Ahmed Khan directed film was released on Good Friday and managed to take advantage of the partial holiday.
Mumbai: Tiger Shroff has scripted an enormous success along with Disha Patani with their latest romance action film 'Baaghi 2'. After solid day one, the film made Rs 73.10 crore at the box office on the opening weekend, standing second behind Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone starrer 'Padmaavat' which had an earning of Rs.114 crore.
Noted trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and said, "#Baaghi2 is a RECORD-SMASHER... East, West, North, South - the film is having a BLOCKBUSTER RUN everywhere... Opening weekend numbers are simply PHENOMENAL... Fri 25.10 cr, Sat 20.40 cr, Sun 27.60 cr. Total: ₹ 73.10 cr. India biz."

The film collected Rs 25.10 crore on opening day and followed it up with another great take amounting to Rs 20.40 cr for a total of Rs 45.50 cr in domestic market. The film was released on Good Friday and managed to take advantage of the partial holiday. The weekend of the film registered 73.10 crore net range and it is among the top fifteen weekends of all time and far better many bigger films be it Raees, Bang bang, Tubelight or Dilwale.
Directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment production, the action flick is based on a quest for a lost child
It also features stellar actors like Manoj Bajpayee and Randeep Hooda. The film is a stand-alone sequel to 2016 film, 'Baaghi'.
