Stree song Milegi Milegi is a subtle reminder of Saif Ali Khan's Pungi
Stree' is a horror-comedy, in which Shraddha Kapoor assumedly plays a ghost, while Rajkummar Rao is smitten by her.
Saif Ali Khan showed his fun side in the serious movie ‘Agent Vinod’s song ‘Pyaar Ki Pungi’, which had been a refreshing change and got many people to the dance floor.
The movie was in news since it was produced by Saif himself along with Dinesh Vijan (and of course, since it was Saifeena’s last movie before marriage).
Dinesh, who is currently busy promoting his upcoming movie ‘Stree’ starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, seems to have given special preference to ‘Pungi’ as he used the tune for his recently released song ‘Milegi Milegi’ too. More so, both the songs have been sung by Mika.
‘Stree’ is a horror-comedy, in which Shraddha Kapoor assumedly plays a ghost, while Rajkummar Rao is smitten in her love, which could end up as his biggest mistake.
The song ‘Milegi Milegi’ is interesting since it shows Shraddha as a dancer entertaining some men, which eventually turns into her being entertained by men (including Rajkummar) in sarees.
‘Milegi Milegi’ also stars Aparshakti Khurrana, who plays Rajkummar’s friend in the movie, and Pankaj Tripathi, best known for his roles in ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur, Newton, Nil Battey Sannaata, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Anarkali Of Aarah’.
