'If I could, I would jump amidst you': SRK waves from Mannat as he thanks fans!

Mumbai: It took fans by surprise when they got to know that Bollywood's King Khan, Shah Rukh was to celebrate his 51st birthday in Alibag with few close friends and family. So, the actor wouldn't be at his Mannat house, waving and thanking his 'jabra' fans on his birthday.

Still, like every year and as the ritual follows, huge crowd of fans gathered outside Shah Rukh Khan's house to catch a glimpse of the actor and wish him on his birthday, and to everyone's surprise, Shah Rukh Khan emerged on his bungalow Mannat's balcony in Mumbai to wave at his 'jabra' fans.

Dressed in a black casual t-shirt and retro glasses, Shah Rukh looked younger than his age as he fondly smiled and waved at his fans and thanked them for all the lovely wishes.

Celebrities such as Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukherji, SRK's wife Gauri Khan, Zoya Akhtar, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and others were spotted at the actor's birthday bash which was held at his Alibag beach house.

Karan Johar even shared a picture on Twitter.

Ask any random guy, living in any part of the world, what he knows about Bollywood and he will proudly admit of knowing Shah Rukh Khan. He, in a way, defines Bollywood and takes it to places some of us may not even know exists in the world map. That’s the beauty of this man- he came out of nowhere, he conquered our hearts and he connected Bollywood to the rest of the world, and we wish the actor a very happy birthday!
