Deepika Padukone’s ‘Malti’ farious looks

Everyone has been raving about Deepika Padukone’s performance as acid attack survivor Malti in the trailer of the film Chhapaak. Her ‘malti’farious outfits and makeup looks for various promotional events have also caught the public eye. What is interesting is that the actress has hired a French make-up and hairstylist to style her looks for the promotion of the film, based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.

Florian Hurel reveals that Deepika did not want a glamorous look and feel during the promotions. “Chhapaak is a very sensitive and emotional movie. I feel DP doesn’t want to go glam in her looks but want to look very relatable and chic. Sandhya Shekhar was on makeup and I was on hair, and I decided to keep the hair very straight and behind the ears, side-parted,” he says about the first trailer launch.

For her other promotions on television, Florian went ahead with a simple open hair-look. Her messy tied hair and minimum make up also did wonders for her on other television appearances.
