Bipasha and Karan fawn over Salman

Salman Khan and Bipasha Basu have never really been the best of friends. Though they’ve worked together in No Entry, there is hardly an occasion in the past when Salman has socialised in the same circle. Yet surprisingly, Salman was at her wedding, much to the gushing pleasure of the bridal couple.

Says an invitee, “The way Bipasha and Karan Singh Grover fawned over Salman was awkward. They kept telling everyone how happy they were that he came. After a point, even Salman seemed embarrassed by the miya-biwi’s effusive hospitality.”

Not that Salman ever gets impressed by undue attention. He was certainly not bowled over by Basu and Grover’s “can’t-believe-you-came” act. When someone asked him what his wedding wishes were for the couple, Salman said with a poker face, “Let’s hope the marriage lasts.”
