Mumbai: Vivek Oberoi is coming up with his next comedy film 'Bankchor' with his old buddy Riteish Deshmukh. As we sit down with Vivek, we ask him about his interests, politics among other things.

Vivek was all praises for PM Modi’s government as he confidently said that under the sincere and efficient guidance of Modi Government, the Country has definitely created a name internationally for the first time. “Governments from different countries all over the globe have understood the fact that India is a prosper country and a lot of money can be made by striking good business deal,” he added.

Giving a recent example while he visited London, Vivek says, “I had been to London just recently where all big –wigs from Political, corporate and other business fields from all over the globe were present in a gathering. Surprisingly, I heard people discussing India to be the most powerful business centre and were keenly looking forward to be able to carry on business opportunities in larger scale since it will bring in a huge profits to them.”

Adding more, Vivek says, “Now, the Modi government has made it very clear that we are not looking for huge money. Those who are interested in striking in any business deal with India, need to be aware of the recent Indian government policies which is as followed, 1) India will get into any business deal provided they would like to deal in rupee only. This dealing in rupee is really very important factor. Undoubtedly, dealing in rupee will clearly enhance profitability to our country .We will not be affected by the rise or fall in dollars at all. 2) Yes; paisa toh hai yahn! (Undeniably, there is a lot of money here in India), but those who are keen on opening new vistas with India on business terms must tell us what benefit will come to India technically. As well how many of our people will get employment.”

Vivek also updates about his recent visit to Nagpur where he met Nitin Gadgari, adding further all praises for Nagpur and Nitin Gadgari he says, “Many huge and wide roads have been constructed yet many more roads are in progress. Nitin also updated me stating that presently, our government is constructing roads everyday which is approximately an average of about 28 km but we would like to increase it and extend the construction of roads to at least 48 KM.”

Adding more, “Thus I can clearly see that Modi government is heading towards progress which we all have witnessed in just three years time.”

Vivek really did sound like a politician while talking to us much about the country’s progress, so the obvious question was, Is Vivek all set to enter politics? Pat replies Vivek, “I was offered to enter politics in 2014 itself. Undeniably, I do not want my hands to be tied by belonging to any one party. I would like to do my bit of service to India as a common man in my own ways which indeed I am doing presently as well.”

“Joining a particular party will be like distancing myself from my friends’, have always given a lot to them and have never expected anything from my friends. So obviously joining any party, I will have to abide by their policies and this might anger others. So a big no no to politics please,” concludes Vivek Oberoi.
