Abhishek to celebrate 40th birthday with Aishwarya and family in Maldives

Abhishek Bachchan, who will turn a year older this Friday, is all set to ring in his birthday in style! The actor is reportedly whisking the Bachchan family for a celebration in Maldives.

While a few reports state that wife Aishwarya, is planning on surprising Abhishek at the party, others state that this birthday will be a quiet and short one. As both Ash and Abhishek are busy with their film schedules, their stay in the beautiful island state will be brief.

Parents Anitabh and Jaya are also expected to join the birthday boy along with Shweta, who is in the country for a holiday.

Abhishek has been hosting star-studded birthday bashes at his parents’ Juhu bungalow over the years, but this time it will be a private family affair. The Bachchans have been putting up a united front, ever since Abhishek-Aishwarya split rumours started doing the rounds in B’twon. Reports of a split started doing the rounds after Amitabh and Abhishek skipped Aishwarya’s ‘Jazbaa’ premier in Mumbai.
