Mumbai: John Abraham, who is known for his high octane action skills feels that he is an underdog. At the trailer launch of his upcoming action film 'Rocky Handsome', he admits that he always loves to play an underdog. He said, "I always play an underdog and if I ever feel that I have 'arrived', then I will pack my bags and leave."

When asked about preparing for the action sequences in the film, he said, "I went to Thailand for a month to learn knife art as we wanted to show realism. I worked very hard but it paid off well."

John also praises director Nishikant Kamat, who is also playing the villain in the film. He said, "When I saw him bald, I was amazed. He will surely get the award for best actor in negative role."

Actress Shruti Hassan is playing a cameo in the film and was not present for the trailer launch. John said, "She is being missed here as she is shooting in London, but the real star is the little wonder Diya who is an extremely adorable girl. She used to come inside the vanity and show me splits and back flips."

John recently wrapped about shooting for his film 'Force 2' opposite Sonakshi Sinha. When asked about how different these two films are, he said, "Both the films will have different kind of action sequences. We maintained the balance of body and attitude in Rocky Handsome. There are 7 major action scenes and they will make you believe that an actor can hit like this."

Nishikant Kamat, who has both directed and acted in the film, said that juggling between the two was difficult. He said, "It was difficult. When I was acting, I was conscious of what other actors are doing. Direction has always been my focus and I wanted someone else to play the part but he backed out two days before the film went on floors. I was a last minute entrant as a villain."

Talking about his bald look in the film, he said, "It's the tale of two brothers in Goa. My younger brother is bald so I tried to match up to his bald look."

Nishikant and John had earlier worked on 'Force', when asked about their new collaboration, John said, " Our collaboration of Force will give an advantage to Rocky handsome but we have actually made a good film."

'Rocky Handsome' is an official remake of 'The Man From No Where' which has been 'tweaked according to the Indian sensibilities'. 'Rocky Handsome' will see the clash with 'Batman v/s Superman on March 25th, 2016, when asked the actor about this clash, he said, "Those are the super heroes but I am a real hero. I want every film do to well at the box office. We had decided this release date and will release it on the same date since me and my team is very confident about the film."
