Aishwarya wins Best Actress of the Year Award for her performance in Sarbjit

Mumbai: With the awards season having officially kickstarted, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has had her first acting acknowledgement already.

The beautiful actress won the Best Actress nod at the Lions Gold Awards ceremony that had been held at a suburban auditorium on Wednesday.

The function was attended by many Bollywood celebrities as well as eminent personalities of the nation.

But the humble actress made sure that she greeted the guests personally as she addressed the audience.

She was handed over the Best Actress Award by Mrs. Amruta Devendra Fadnavis wife of the Maharashtra chief minister.
