Mumbai: On April 28, 2017, we will finally know why Katappa killed Baahubali as the film’s much awaited second part releases on that day. On Friday (August 5, 2016), the film’s makers announced ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ release date.

Karan Johar, through his Dharma Productions, has acquired the rights of the film and will be presenting the film’s Hindi version. The filmmaker alongside leading distributor Anil Thadani, had also earlier marketed film’s prequel.

The release date of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ was announced by ‘Student of the Year’ filmmaker himself, who took to his official Twitter account to break the news.

“Dharma Productions and AA films are honored and proud to associate once again with the genius @ssrajamouli 's vision. @BaahubaliMovie The Conclusion releases on the 28th of April 2017 @arkamediaworks @Shobu_ #Prasad @dharmamovies,” Karan Johar wrote.

Earlier, Karan Johar released ‘Baahubali’ like a big budget film with the help of full fledged promotions and in-depth interviews, which played a major role in the film’s box office success. It was Rana Dagubatti who mentioned Rajamouli’s name to the director and instantly Karan had said yes and hopped on board as Baahubali’s presenter and now, the filmmaker film be presenting the film’s second part as well.
