2.0 BO collection day 6: Rajni, Akshay Kumar's film is super strong on the weekdays

The total collection of the Sci-Fi film, after a six-day run, stands at Rs 122.50 crore, which is sensational.

Mumbai: Megastar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's latest Sci-Fi drama 2.0 has set the box-office on fire. The film continues its winning streak and is going super strong even on the weekdays. The film has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark and managed to collect substantial amount of money on a working Tuesday.

2.0 recently added Rs 11.50 crore more to its kitty. The drop from Monday, when the film had collected Rs 13.75 crore, is negligible. The total collection of the film, after a six-day run, stands at Rs 122.50 crore, which is sensational.

Film Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, "#2Point0 sets the BO on ... Double digits yet again on Day 6 [Tue]… The trending on weekdays is EXCELLENT... Thu 20.25 cr, Fri 18 cr, Sat 25 cr, Sun 34 cr, Mon 13.75 cr, Tue 11.50 cr. Total: ₹ 122.50 cr. India biz. Note: HINDI version." (sic)

Directed by S Shankar, 2.0 casts Rajinikanth in dual roles and Akshay Kumar as the antagonist. Made on a reported budget of Rs 500 crore, 2.0 is a sequel to 2010 movie Enthiran. Ahead of the film's release, the makers had reportedly recovered Rs 370 crore through the sale of satellite and digital rights of the film.

Produced by Lyca Productions, 2.0 opened in cinemas on November 29 to mixed to positive response from the audience and critics alike.
