Vishal Bhardwaj puts Churiya on hold, chooses Deepika, Irrfan starrer over it
Word is that Churiya will now go on floors only by June, thanks to his other project, temporarily titled Sapna Didi.
Vishal Bhardwaj, who was reportedly start on the casting of his next — rather interesting — project Churiya, is slowing down a bit. The three-actress project was to be locked in soon, with Vishal trying to start shooting by February or March, but that’s not going to happen.
Word is that Churiya will now go on floors only by June, thanks to his other project, temporarily titled Sapna Didi.
A source close to the film says, “Sapna Didi is just a working title. It’s a very sensitive and appealing subject, for which Vishal wants to take his own time. Earlier Honey Trehan was supposed to direct the movie, but because of creative differences they mutually decided Vishal should helm it.”
The source adds that Churiya is on the backburner, and Vishal will only take charge of the movie after Sapna Didi, in June.
