After Salman Khan's Bharat, Priyanka Chopra opts out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film?
Priyanka's big Hollywood project 'Cowboy Ninja Viking' killed the possibility of this Bollywood film.
Mumbai: Priyanka Chopra is grabbing headlines with her engagement and marriage rumours with alleged beau Nick Jonas. The actress walked out of Salman Khan's upcoming mega project 'Bharat' reportedly due to her marriage plans in next couple of months. However, a few days later, news broke out that Priyanka would be starring opposite Hollywood star Chris Pratt in new movie 'Cowboy Ninja Viking' as the female lead. It’s been speculated that PeeCeee smartly ditched Khan’s film to star in a bigger film.
And now according to the latest report in DNA, it looks like the actress has opted out of one more Bollywood project. Chopra has walked out of a film with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
After their successful collaboration on 'Bajirao Mastani' and ‘Mary Kom’, Priyanka and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were keen on making yet another film based on female gangster Gangubai Kothewali. However, Bhansali's plans were left awry after the 'Quantico' star decided to leave this project at the last minute like she did with Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Bharat'.
A source shared with DNA that Bhansali was very well going to make the project with Priyanka as the female lead.
The source further revealed that Priyanka's big Hollywood project 'Cowboy Ninja Viking' killed the possibility of this Bollywood film and now the filmmaker has put off the plans of making it in the near future.
Priyanka is currently busy with only one Bollywood film 'The Sky Is Pink', which also stars Zaira Wasim and Farhan Akhtar.
