Hrithik takes us back to the dawn of civilization in Mohenjo Daro motion poster

The film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo Daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilization.

The first Mohenjo Daro motion poster showed an ancient gold coin which bears the heads of six animals.

Mumbai: A few hours after releasing the Mohenjo Daro's motion poster, Hrithik Roshan introduced his character Sarman. The film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, is set in the ancient city of Mohenjo Daro in the era of the Indus Valley civilization that dates back to 2600 BC.

Almost a year after Hrithik Roshan began work on his periodic drama 'Mohenjo Daro', the actor gave his fans a sneak peek into the film.

"Even before the British Raj, Mughals, Christ, Alexander, Buddha and India as we know it, there was Mohenjo Daro", says the motion poster.

Although the sets were well guarded, a few images made their way online and show Hrithik wrestling with a crocodile while ferrying on a boat.

The film that will see Hrithik Roshan being paired opposite Pooja Hegde for the first time, is slated for a August 12 release. The film will clash with Akshay Kumar's war drama 'Rustom' at the box office.
