Raveena to participate in conversation on women with disabilities on Women's Day
Raveena is currently busy with her movie directed by Ashtar Sayed, 'Maatr-The Mother'.
Mumbai: Raveena Tandon, actor, producer, columnist and former model over the years, has evolved on many fronts. The actress will take part in a conversation on ‘Women with Disabilities’ in Delhi. The actress will address issues ranging from women with disabilities being invisible among those promoting the rights of persons with disabilities, gender equality and the advancement of women.
Meanwhile, Raveena Tandon is busy with her movie directed by Ashtar Sayed, 'Maatr-The Mother'. This crime thriller drama is produced under the banners of CDB Musical in association with Anjum Rizvi Film Co., Manoj Adhikari Production and Pugmark Films Pvt Ltd. The actress will be seen essaying the role of a mother in the film and the film delves on the road to justice for women who are victims of violence and rape.
Talking about the movie, Raveena said, “I found the script very gratifying, as it showed how one can deal with criminals indulging in crime against women, while remaining on the right side of the law. As a society we need to change our laws to protect women.”
The film is all set to hit the theatres on April 21, 2017.
