While the cure for novel coronavirus is nowhere to be seen on the horizon, the international pop sensation Lady Gaga has made an announcement that’s a fitting antidote to the sunken spirits of people across the globe. Curating a live-streamed and televised benefit concert 'One World: Together at Home', the Shallow singer has joined hands with the social action platform Global Citizen to raise money for the World Health Organisation (WHO)’s solidarity fund.

The cherry on the cake is the line-up itself. The concert will see Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, J. Balvin, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Billie Joe Armstrong, Alanis Morissette, Chris Martin, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban and Lang Lang performing for frontline healthcare workers.

Moreover, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan are also set to make an appearance with other international stars such as David Beckham, Idris and Sabrina Elba and Kerry Washington, among others.

Taking to Instagram, the Dostana actress shared her excitement, saying, “We’ll be honoring healthcare and front line essential community workers through music and celebration at home.”

The One World: Together at Home will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert, and will be televised and streamed on April 18.
