Box office report: Salman Khan's Sultan joins Rs 100 cr club just in 3 days

Mumbai: Bollywood’s ‘Dabangg’ Khan, Salman has once again proved that no controversy can ever stop his film from conquering box office. After receiving a fantastic opening on its first day, Salman’s ‘Sultan’ has already joined the Rs 100 crore club just in 3 days.

Three days of its release, ‘Sultan’ has successfully earned Rs. 105.34 crore, becoming Salman’s biggest opener at the box office. With this, Salman Khan has taken the lead and holds the record of having the maximum films in the elite Rs. 100 crore club, while Shah Rukh Khan stands on the second spot with six films.

Minting Rs 36.54 crore on its first day, ‘Sultan’ witnessed a good hype on Thursday and collected Rs. 37.2 crore. However, the film dropped a little on its third day as it only managed to earn Rs. 31.50 crore at the box office.

Riding high on positive feedback and word of mouth, Salman and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Sultan’ will most likely take a good jump at the box office this weekend.
