Munna and Circuit back together

While Rajkumar Hirani’s third installment of the Munnabhai series is still on hold, Munna and Circuit — Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi are set to be cast in another film together.

“Sajid and Farhad Samji are slated to direct the film together once Farhad gets an idea of when his Bachchan Pandey starring Akshay Kumar goes on the floors. It is also a comedy film and both actors have green-lighted the project. At the moment, they want to mount the film in the second quarter of 2020,” says an industry source.

Munnabhai MBBS released in 2003 and Lage Raho Munnabhai released in 2006. In between this, Raj Kaushal — Mandira Bedi’s director husband — made a film called Anthony Kaun Hai? starring both Sanju and Arshad, which did not get a positive response. This will be Arshad and Sanju’s fourth film together.
