Salman Khan won't take anything for granted any longer
This incident on Race 3 sets showed that Salman is taking a lot more interest in every detail of the film.
Mumbai: Salman Khan, who has begun shooting for Race 3, asked for a few changes in the set of the movie, since he wasn’t happy with what he saw. The scene was that to be of a high-tech robbery, but Salman wasn’t pleased.
“Salman felt that the look of the set was too tacky, going by the kind of films the Indian audiences are exposed to these days, and asked for changes to be made,” says a source. “Salman is now taking a lot more interest in every detail of the film, having worked with intelligent filmmakers like Kabir Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar in recent times. The actor will not be taking anything for granted any longer, and is expected to use his almost three-decade experience to good effect in bettering the quality of his films.”
The makers have obviously agreed to the stars demands, because they too felt that Salman was right, and wouldn’t want to waste his own dates when the changes were being made. As Salman once said, “Earlier, when I used to walk on to the sets, I would not do anything but act. Now, if I do give my inputs because filmmakers can benefit from my experience, why shouldn’t I? If you want to call it interference, call it so.”
After quite a while, Salman has three film projects lined up to shoot, and is invigorated after a small break he took after completing Tiger Zinda Hai. He’s also had a quick meeting with Arbaaz Khan and Pradbhu Deva for Dabangg 3, and is slated to shoot for brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri’s Bharat, directed by Ali, after he wraps up Race 3. Meanwhile, Tiger Zinda Hai releases this December.
