Salman Khan, who has always been appreciated for his ‘cop’ look, settled into this stereotype with the Dabangg franchise. Director Rohit Shetty also shares Salman’s passion for cop-based dramas; his Singham franchise is a key example.

Rohit is also gearing up for Sooryavanshi, which will perhaps bring the cops from his previous franchises — Ajay Devgn (Singham), Ranveer Singh (Simbaa) — to his latest, namely Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi.

And amidst reports that Rohit and Salman are collaborating for Kick 2, we wonder why the two didn’t collaborate on a cop film.

Salman says about the matter that he had pitched a Singham-Chulbul Pandey crossover for a project. “I had told Rohit a long time ago about Singham and Chulbul, but that was a long time ago,” he says.

While we still don’t know why things didn’t materialise, getting Ajay and Salman together would definitely be a blockbuster.
