Amitabh Bachchan to screen Pink for veteran actresses
Amitabh Bachchan will be hosting a special preview of Pink for some strong ladies.
Shoojit Sircar’s Pink has already got Bollywood talking, with its intriguing plot and heavy dialogues. Amitabh Bachchan, of course, is spearheading the movie, and ever since the movie’s trailer has released, the interest in it has increased manifold.
Now we hear that the megastar is planning to host an exclusive and first screening of Pink, just for the leading ladies of Indian cinema. A source close to the actor reveals, “His yesteryear co-stars, such as Waheeda Rehman and Sharmila Tagore, as well as other female luminaries from fields like music, have been invited for a special preview of Pink today. This will be a screening unlike any seen before in B-town.”
The movie will see Big B playing the role of a lawyer, and it will also star Tapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Angad Bedi. Pink is releasing on Spetember 16, and has been directed by Bengali filmmaker, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury. His previous outing includes the national award winning Antaheen with Rahul Bose and Radhika Apte in the lead.
