Mumbai: Salman Khan and his brother Sohail Khan were seen celebrating ‘bhaihood’ in the recent song ‘Naach Meri Jaan’ from their film ‘Tubelight.’

The makers of the film release the making video of this song, with insights about it from the film's director Kabir Khan and the choreographer of this song Shabina Khan.

"The song Nach Meri Jaan is the first song in the film which establishes Salman, Sohail and all the other characters in the film," says the star choreographer Shabina Khan.

In every field of creative endeavor we come across an individual that raises the bar to an ultimate peak for that particular field of artistic achievement.

In the arena of professional dancers, we have our very own star choreographer- Shabina Khan who has been one of Salman's 'constant' choreographer from 'Khamoshi' as an assistant choreographer to 'Dabangg,' 'Jai Ho' and 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.'

May be its Salman's connect with Shabina which draws him to explore her credentials in each of his films.

Shabina calls this song a "special song which is very close to her heart" . Though she belongs to a strict Muslim family, where even watching TV wasn’t allowed, today her name instantly reminds you of a girl who is not only successful but someone who has maintained her family values and relationships.

Although Shabina feels that dance is an integral part of a song but the choreographer believes in giving equal mileage to director's vision, justifying the character in terms of storytelling, appropriate choreography and understanding the audience "Salman and Sohail sir's characters in the film are such that the song's choreography had to be intelligent. I gave them such steps which looked believable that their characters could dance like this. It was very important for the audience to believe that if they were Salman and Sohail's characters even they would dance like this. The key to any hit song is understand your audience, director's vision and play around the actor's characters"

The backdrop of the song will transport the audience to the era of 1960s.

According to Shabina, there is a lot of research and homework involved in order to capture the essence of the song and justify Kabir Khan's vision.

"Kabir sir sat me down and briefed me about his vision with the song. Understanding his brief, I did a lot of research and homework to understand the era of 1960s. I have kept the approach of the song with minimum. There is a function going on in the song, Salman and Sohail sir are eating, cycling; basically enjoying the song. The feeling of the song is very happy go lucky," concluded Shabina Khan.
