Thugs of Hindostan keeps Aamir busy, not to promote home production Secret Superstar?

Mumbai: After the ‘Dangal’ fever subsided, Aamir Khan flew down to Malta for the shoot of Vijay Krishna Acharya’s adventure drama ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. The actor, who is known for his commitment towards the craft of acting, is apparently engrossed in the filming process so much that he is highly likely to give ‘Secret Superstar’ promotional events a miss.

When contacted the spokesperson of Aamir to verify the news, there was no concrete response from them.

‘Secret Supertar’ is slated to release on Diwali this year.

Directed by Advait Chandan, ‘Secret Superstar’ younger Geeta from ‘Dangal’, Ziara Wasim, in lead role and the project has been co-produced by Aamir khan and his wife Kiran Rao. Zaira Wasim recently won the National Award (Best Supporting Actress) for her dashing act in her debut film ‘Dangal’.

The entire cast of TOH—Aamir, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and ‘Dangal’ debutante Fatima Sana Sheikh—are in Malta at the moment, shooting away for this larger-than-life project that has been touted by many as the leaf out of Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp’s ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’.
