Varun Dhawan is a usually genial actor, but he is prone to bouts of irritation. The selfie culture that has replaced autographs and photographs seems to have made overenthusiastic fans jump at actors these days. Now that’s something Varun isn’t a fan of.
“Varun had gone to meet director Shoojit Sircar, and was leaving from the meeting when fans started mobbing him,” reports an eyewitness. “While Varun was taking pictures with some fans, an overzealous one tried to jump into the picture, ‘photobombing’ him. Varun was upset and asked the fan to step aside. However, later, Varun had a change of heart and gave the fan another selfie.”
Varun may have handled the situation rather well this time around, but last time he was at the receiving end from Mumbai’s traffic cops for leaning out of his car for a selfie with a fan in the middle of a busy street. But we all learn, don’t we?
