Big B falls ill while shooting in Jodhpur
The megastar kept his fans informed about his health condition through a blogpost.
India’s favourite actor, Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently in Jodhpur to shoot for Thugs Of Hindostan, has fallen ill. A team of doctors were rushed from Mumbai to Jodhpur in a chartered plane to treat the actor on Tuesday morning.
Prior to the medics’ arrival, around 5 AM on the same day, Amitabh posted about his health issues on his blog. “I am getting my team of doctors in tomorrow morning to fiddle around with my body and set me up again… I will rest and keep informed in process... (sic),” the 75-year-old’s message read. While the latest reports suggest that the Piku star’s health has shown improvement, the doctors have strictly advised him to rest.
In his blog post, the senior actor also wrote, “… the morning after the night that began yesterday... for work… some people need to work for a living... and work hard.... (sic).”
Meanwhile, the sources close to the Bachchan family say all is well. Even Jaya Bachchan, who is in Delhi attending parliament heard about Mr B’s health setback on the news. “She rang up Mr Bachchan’s man Friday to get to know the truth. Only when she was reassured about his health did she return to parliament. Abhishek is shooting in Punjab for Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyan. He too confirms that all is well with his Paa,” says the family friend.
