Tumhari Sulu trailer launch: Vidya Balan is confident of the film
Vidya Balan once again plays a RJ in this Suresh Triveni directed quirky comedy film.
Mumbai: The posters and the teaser of Vidya Balan’s Tumhari Sulu generated lot of curiosity about the film. The anticipated trailer of upcoming film recently launched at the event in Mumbai. If the trailer is anything to go by, this quirky comedy film will be an absolute delight to watch.
Sharing her experience working on this film, Vidya said, “I am very fond of my director Suresh Triveni. We developed a very good equation while working on this film and he got a great sense of humour. When I first met him he discussed several other ideas for a possible film and the last one he shared was Tumhari Sulu which really intrigued me. After reading the full script few weeks later, I got really happy and I must say Tumhari Sulu was the best script I read in the long time.”
“This film is really very special for everyone. We all put our 200% to make a delightful film that I am sure will be loved by the audience. The shooting used to get really exhausting but at the end of the day it was a feeling of doing something truly special. I can’t wait for audiences to see Sulu on the screen”, elated Vidya added.
On being asked whether it was challenging to play a RJ, Vidya passed the mike to Director Suresh Triveni who promptly said, “I don’t think there’s any challenge to give to Vidya Balan. I’m really fond of her as an actor and she has spoilt me for life.”

Tumhari Sulu stars Vidya Balan, who was last seen in Begum Jaan. The film also stars Manav Kaul, Neha Dhupia and RJ Mallishka. It is co-produced by Bhushan and Krishan Kumar's T-Series Films and Atul Kasbekar's Ellipsis Entertainment. The film is slated to release on 17 November.
