Mouni Roy speaks too soon

New actors often end up making headlines by letting the cat out of the bag too soon. And that’s what seems to have happed with Mouni Roy. The actress has inadvertently disclosed too much about the upcoming film Brahmastra during media interactions for the promotion of Gold.
Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukherji and produced by Karan Johar, stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. Until now, we’d only been told that Mouni too played an important role in the film. But during a recent interview, she revealed that she was the villain.
“She let the story of Brahmastra out too early. Filmmakers who make big films have huge marketing campaigns planned, and Karan’s marketing guys are concerned that Mouni’s spoken too soon. Ranbir, Alia and Amitabh are too seasoned to fall prey to media queries, but Mouni being a newbie has spilt the beans. Now she has been told to stay mum and not say another word about the film,” a source reveals.
