The excitement level has hit the roof thanks to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding. As per Konkani traditions, Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot on November 14, and today is the Anant Karaj. As we speak, ceremonies have kick-started at Villa del Balbianello in Italy, and to ensure privacy, DeepVeer has made sure that the security in and around the villa is taken care of. Earlier, we had reported that DeepVeer has a strict no mobile policy at the wedding, and now to beef up the security, we hear that both the Padukone and Bhavnani families have ensured that from special wrist bands to patrolling boats, everything is in place to ensure utmost privacy at the wedding.

According to a report in ANI, all the visitors at the wedding will have to present a special wristband before entering the venue and security guards will cover up the camera lenses on mobile phones with stickers. Even on the lake itself, numerous patrolling boats have been stationed outside the property to ensure that no snooping photographers get a chance to leak any picture from the wedding. Also, the e-invite of the guests bears a QR code that will be scanned at the entry. 

On Tuesday, Ranveer’s stylist Nitasha Gaurav, expressed her sense of joy on Twitter as she wrote, “No pictures but it was love personified to see them together today. Couldn’t stop my tears, but these were tears of happiness and so I hope they never do. #DeepVeerKiShaadi #ranveerkishaadi #foreverlove.” 

After the pre-wedding ceremonies like mehendi and sangeet, DeepVeer will take the pheras in a traditional South Indian-style wedding, and thereafter, they will take the vows again in an Anand Karaj ceremony.

As per reports, during the mehendi and sangeet ceremony, Ranveer not only sang a song for his lady love but also went down on his knees while exchanging rings with Deepika.
