Sanaa to be screened at IFFI
Sudhanshu Saria highlights the significance of bringing the film to the intended audience
Sudhanshu Saria’s film Sanaa has been making news for all the right reasons. The film, starring Radhika Madan, will make its world premiere at the 54th International Film Festival of India. “We are excited to finally flag off our Indian journey with our premiere at IFFI,” says the National Award-winning director Sudhanshu adding, “Being selected by my government to represent the finest cinema being made this year is no ordinary honour and the entire team was thrilled when we received the news. We are looking forward to hearing what our very first Indian audience thinks of the film.”
Sanaa has been selected for the IFFI after receiving international acclaim for its intriguing storyline and stellar performances at prestigious film festivals. “After screening globally, the team looks forward to presenting Sanaa to its Indian audience at IFFI, honoured to be selected by one of the world’s oldest film festivals,” says Sudhanshu. Sanaa, a film about mental health trauma, dportrays an ambitious lady waging an internal battle caused by unresolved trauma.
