Season 2 of Bose, possibly next year
The success of the first season has encouraged the makers to start working on Season 2 at the earliest.
Actor Rajkummar Rao, who plays Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the ALTBalaji’s mini-series Bose: Dead/Alive, tells us that the success of the first season has encouraged the makers to start working on Season 2 at the earliest.
“We are planning Season 2. But I have to shave my head and gain weight again for the role, and that’s a huge commitment. With the kind of work that I have lined up, I don’t think it will be possible to start filming for at least a year,” Rao says, adding, “The team is working on the scripting though.”
The versatile actor who will soon be seen in the horror-comedy film Stree, reveals that one genre that he isn’t comfortable doing is sex-comedy.
“It depends on the script, but I personally don’t enjoy double-meaning jokes. So I wouldn’t indulge in it. I have been offered a couple of sex-comedies before, but I’ve never considered doing them,” he says.
