Mumbai: Even since Ali Abbas Zafar's Sultan has hit the screens, films' leading lady Anushka Sharma, who essayed the role of a promising wrestler, has been criticised for sacrificing her Olympic medal dream to become a mother.
Now, the actress has addressed this criticism by sharing a letter by Belarusian professional tennis player Victoria Azarenka to explain her character, Aarfa's decision in the film.
She wrote, "Wanted to share this. For those who couldn’t understand Aarfa’s decision in Sultan, maybe this will put things in perspective."

Sultan also features Salman Khan, Randeep Hooda, Amit Sadh and Meiyang Chang. The film has earned a gross of Rs 320 crore at the box office and is still going strong.
