Sushant's tweet misinterpreted; wasn't on losing Best Actor award to Shahid
Well, this left everyone assuming that he was unhappy with IIFA and took a dig at them by posting the cryptic emotion.
Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput, who was a background dancer in 2006 at IIFA, got nominated under the Best Actor category for his spectacular performance in MS. Dhoni: The Untold Story' this year. The actor was very elated, while he was speaking about it at the occasion's press conference.
Sushant, along with his Raabta' co-star Kriti Sanon put up a beautiful couple performance for the IIFA audience. After the energetic and magnificent performance, the actor posted a cryptic tweet.

However, many misinterpreted his tweet, and there were reports that the actor posted the tweet after losing the Best Actor category award to Shahid Kapoor for his critically acclaimed film Udta Punjab.'
Well, this left everyone assuming that he was unhappy with IIFA and took a dig at them by posting the cryptic emotion.
According to a portal, a reliable source, who is close to Sushant, has clarified the stance and said, Sushant's tweet had nothing to do with the awards. It was simply an expression of having a successful graduation from a background dancer, to now being an actor performing at the very same award function. Infact the tweet was posted right after Sushant's performance and had no relevance to the award ceremony. As opposed to the speculation, not getting an award doesn't affect Sushant as he is very secure as an actor."
Whereas his Instagram account says something else, his account is entirely filled with his pictures and memories from the award show held in New York City.
