Saif-Shahid-Kangana's Rangoon faces hiccup by CBFC
CBFC has asked the makers of the movie 'Rangoon' to replace some cuss words.
Mumbai: Vishal Bhardwaj’s films are famous for their raw and gritty element. The trailer of his latest movie 'Rangoon' screams Vishal’s name in every scene. The filmmaker known for having explicit dialogues in his movies, has got his latest movie in trouble.
Making their presence in film’s progress, the Central Board of Certification (CBFC) has given the makers a U/A certificate but has asked them to remove few cuss words from the movie, according to a report.
The words 'Bakchod' and 'Bastard' are replaced with 'Bakchor' and Rascal. The board didn’t stop at that and went ahead slashing another word 'Chinal' which means 'Slut' and replacing it with 'Jhoothi'.
We hope that these replacements won’t spoil the true essence of the movie.
Rangoon stars Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor in pivotal roles. The romantic war movie is slated to release on February 24.
