Celebs skip, Abhishek comes to father Big B's rescue at Daboo Ratnani calendar launch

Mumbai: Daboo Ratnani’s calendar launch is one of the most star-studded affair. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case this year as no A-lister, except Sunny Leone, Abhishek Bachchan and Rekha attended the event.

You heard that right. Nobody from Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, Hrithik Roshan, Kajol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Sidharth Malhotra, Farhan Akhtar, Vidya Balan, Parineeti Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Aamir Khan or Arjun Rampal came for the launch.

It is quite a surprising thing considering that most of these actor celebs were in town. Amitabh himself was supposed to inaugurate the event, but he too gave the launch a miss quoting shoulder and back pain. Then his son Abhishek Bachchan stepped in to inaugurate the event. Here's the photo:
