Kapil Sharma to be immortalised in wax at Madame Tussauds
The 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' host is the first Indian TV personality to have his wax statue at the prestigious Madame Tussauds.
Mumbai: Madame Tussauds Studios London has been making wax figures for over 150 years with each masterpiece taking up to four months and a team of 20 dedicated sculptors to create. Now, Kapil Sharma is all set to be the first Indian television actor to be immortalised in wax at Madame Tussauds.
According to reports, Kapil closely worked with the Madame Tussauds artistic team to ensure total accuracy. The meeting happened at Mumbai's J W Marriott. The team has started working on Kapil's statue and it will get ready in four months time, after which it will put out on display.
World famous sculptors have worked closely with the Indian film industry over the last decade, and we now have a stellar line-up in a specially created Bollywood area. Other popular celebrities who have their statues are Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Madhuri Dixit.
